One such example is the Video documentary produced by Dr. Lakshmi Rekha Arun, an intern from Phase 1 of the Nṛtyaśilpa Yātra This six-part video series explores the intricate connection between the Lepakshi temple and the weaving community in its vicinity, focusing on the study of designs and motifs. It traces the journey of these motifs from temple sculptures to woven saris, highlighting their cultural and artistic significance.

  • Introductory Video: Offers insights into the architectural and artistic marvels of the Lepakshi temple.
  • Second Video: Features an interview with Smt. Nalinakshi, an author and researcher from Lepakshi, providing historical and cultural context.
  • Third Video: Documents a visit to a silk weaving unit in Hindupur, a neighbouring city, showcasing the craftsmanship and techniques.
  • Fourth and Fifth Videos: Focus on interviews with dealers and designers in Hindupur, shedding light on the commercial aspects and design innovations along with the different motifs found in some of the Tamilnadu temples while conducting Nṛtyaśilpa Yātra phase 2.
